IRS Targeting Groups Is Nothing New!

Recently, Conservative groups have alleged that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has been scrutinizing Tea Party and other Conservative groups from reaching their tax-exempt status. Some have blamed the Obama administration and left-wing groups for such wrongdoing. If these allegations are true, then it would only show how untrustworthy U.S. Government agencies actually are. It should come to no surprise that such agencies have always targeted various groups in America. Furthermore, these conservative groups have not nearly come close to receiving the scrutiny and attacks as progressive Black groups such as the Nation of Islam (NOI). In fact, the governmental attacks against the NOI have spanned far and wide, ranging from the IRS, CIA, FBI, and local police departments throughout the country.
Let us not forget that the Honorable Marcus Garvey and the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA) movement was targeted by government agencies that framed him with a mail fraud technicality, which ultimately led to his deportation and the dismantling of his movement. Loosing Garvey and the UNIA at the expense of the U.S. Government was a loss to all Black people.
The Government’s attacks didn’t begin or end with Garvey’s demise. After the formation of the FBI, IRS, and the Jewish operated ADL, the attempts to target and dismantle Black dissident groups were stepped up dramatically. The FBI developed the Counter Intelligence Program (Cointelpro) whose objectives sought to destroy, and discredit nearly every major Black leader and organization that sought to liberate the oppressed people. Leaders and organizations like Dr. King, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, the Black Panther Party, Malcolm X, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and the NOI were just a few who have experienced the attacks from government agencies.
The FBI promised that they would continuously carry out these racist protocols against Black people whom they wrongfully labeled as hate-groups. Here is a quote from an FBI memo dated August 25, 1967:
The purpose of this new counterintelligence endeavor is to expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, or otherwise neutralize the activities of black nationalist, hate-type organizations and groupings, their leadership, spokesmen, membership, and supporters, and to counter their propensity for violence and civil disorder. The activities of all such groups of intelligence interest to this Bureau must be followed on a continuous basis so we will be in a position to promptly take advantage of all opportunities for counterintelligence and to inspire action in instances where circumstances warrant.
Even more recently, the Nation of Islam has been targeted by the IRS, FBI, and of course, the ADL. Due to Jewish organizations falsely labeling the Honorable Minister Farrakhan and the NOI as a ‘hate group’, this labeling has created an avenue for government agencies to subpoena and attempt to dismantle the NOI. It was just a few years ago that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) admitted to collecting false information to target the Nation of Islam and its leadership. The December 17, 2009 article in the LA Times reported part of this admission:
The Department of Homeland Security issued but recalled a 2007 intelligence analysis about the Nation of Islam after deciding the document dealing with the black Muslim group broke rules on intelligence activity in the United States, officials said Wednesday.
Internal documents revealed that intelligence chiefs found analysts had "unintentionally and inadvertently" violated rules governing the collection, retention and distribution of information concerning "U.S. persons and organizations."
Clearly the U.S. Government continues to carry out its objectives to falsely accuse and destroy Black leaders and groups who seek to liberate the people. It comes to no surprise that these lies and false labels such as ‘hate group’ and ‘anti-Semite’ have been used to justify attacking the unarmed Muslims who have a history of establishing peace and dignity in downtrodden communities throughout America. Why is there not an uproar among Black leaders and professionals about the wrongdoings of the U.S. Government toward Black groups?

With all the political hoopla about IRS workers wrongfully targeting Conservative groups during the last couple of years, who will stand up against the IRS, the FBI, and those Jewish groups that have influenced policies against the rise of Black people for several decades? Who will be wise and bold enough to stand with the Honorable Minister Farrakhan as he has consistently exposed the wickedness of the U.S. Government against Black and oppressed people? Are other Black leaders afraid to speak out against these continuous government atrocities against the people? Or are those Black leaders in cahoots with the same Government that works to destroy their own people?

Conservative groups have recently alleged that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has been scrutinizing and discriminating against Tea Party groups, blaming the Obama administration and left-wing groups for such wrongdoing. If these allegations are true, then it would only show how untrustworthy U.S. Government agencies actually are. It should come to no surprise that such agencies have always targeted various groups in America. Quite frankly, these conservative groups have not nearly come close to receiving the scrutinous attacks that progressive Black groups such as the Nation of Islam (NOI) have endured. In fact, the governmental attacks against the NOI have spanned far and wide, ranging from the IRS, CIA, FBI, and local police departments throughout the country.

Since the U.S. Government and its cohorts have not been able to disprove the truth conveyed by Minister Farrakhan and his teacher, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, their only resort is to use the U.S. courts and criminal justice system to attack the NOI.
